The Beginning

I want to start by saying that my "official" title is not EBD Teacher.  I am technically a Cross-Categorical Special Education Teacher.  This means I can have students with several disability categories in my class.  Many of my students have Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (EBD), and most others may not have that categorization, but exhibit several of the traits.

I am writing this blog to keep my sanity this year, which is going to be especially difficult.  I hope to use this blog to be a reflective teacher as well as share interventions that work, and also those that don't work.  I am going to be honest, while maintaining confidentiality.  I hope that this blog will help others, while it also helps me, and most importantly, my students.
